Frequently asked
How do I sign in?
Three paths, all create the same account:
- Sign in with Apple: tap the Apple button on the sign-in screen. Uses your existing Apple ID. One tap.
- Sign in with Google: tap the Google button. Uses your existing Google account. One tap.
- Magic link: enter your email, tap "Send magic link," check your inbox, tap the link.
If you sign in via any path first and then switch to a different one with the same email, your accounts are automatically linked.
I'm not receiving the magic-link email.
Check your spam folder first. The sender is noreply@concertqueue.com. If it's not there:
- Wait 60 seconds and try again. Sometimes the first send is delayed.
- Verify the email address you typed (no trailing space, correct domain).
- Try Sign in with Apple as an alternative.
- Still stuck? Email support@concertqueue.com.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. You'll need to type DELETE to confirm. This permanently removes your account, swipes, friendships, and any reports / blocks / corrections you've filed.
If you can't access the app for some reason, email support@concertqueue.com and we'll process the deletion within 7 days.
How do I report a wrong show (wrong genre, date, venue, etc.)?
Open the show's detail sheet → tap the menu icon (top right) → "Report a problem." Pick the matching reason:
- Genre is wrong: pick the umbrellas we should use instead.
- Date / time / venue is wrong: tell us the correct value.
- Show is cancelled or postponed: flag the status change.
- Not a music show: comedy, theater, sports, etc.
- Something else: open-ended note.
An admin reviews every report within 24 hours. Accepted corrections update the show for everyone.
How do I report a user or hide them?
On any user's profile, tap the menu icon (top right):
- Report: pick a reason (inappropriate content, harassment, spam, impersonation, other). Goes to an admin for review within 24 hours.
- Block: instantly hides them from your search, suggestions, and profile views. Any existing friendship between you is removed. They are not notified that you blocked them.
Manage blocked users via Settings → Privacy → Blocked users.
Which Denver-area venues do you cover?
The full range: small clubs, mid-size theaters, large rooms, outdoor amphitheaters along the Front Range and the mountain corridor. Coverage grows over time. If you're not finding a specific show or have a venue request, email support@concertqueue.com.
Why isn't my friend showing up in search?
A few possible reasons:
- They haven't finished signing up. Users without a chosen @username don't appear in search.
- You're searching for the wrong handle. Usernames are lowercase, no spaces, with optional underscores.
- One of you has blocked the other. Blocks hide users from search in both directions.
- Their account is hidden from search (admin / test accounts).
Push notifications aren't working.
Check your phone's Settings → ConcertQueue → Notifications. Make sure they're allowed. Then in the app, Settings → Notifications, make sure the categories you want are toggled on. Always-on categories (friend requests, friend accepted, show cancelled) fire regardless of these toggles.
If you switched phones recently, sign out + back in on the new device so we register the new APNs device token.
How do I change my username?
Settings → Username. You only get one change: after that, the handle is locked. We do this to make handles a stable identity rather than a churning brand.
How does Calendar export work?
Settings → Calendar → toggle "Calendar export" on. The first time you do this, iOS will ask permission to write to your Calendar app. Once enabled, every show you mark Going gets added automatically. You can also export individual shows via the per-show "Add to Calendar" button.
Bug reports and feature requests
